Journalists

Kishore Subbaiah

I’m Kishore Subbaiah, an incoming freshman at William Mason High School. I usually take up leadership positions and participate in Model UN committees, being an active delegate, chairing, or being a part of the Crisis Teams. My fundraising experience was participating in the Middle School’s Orchestra by selling cookie dough and popcorn. I’m excited to join the Youth Advisory Board to give back to my community and school. Outside of school, I’ve been playing the guitar for five years. I hope to spread awareness about activities and fundraisers as a journalist and get other people involved in the initiative as well. In my spare time, I’m usually reading or drafting stories.

Vaishnavi Kavali

Hi! I’m Vaishnavi Kavali, an incoming freshman at Mason High School. Some extracurriculars I am involved in are NJHS and Student Council. These clubs have especially helped me with my leadership skills that I am excited to showcase while being a part of Little Helpers. Outside of school, I enjoy dance which I have been doing since the age of 6 and baking which has been a hobby that I have recently picked up. Being a part of this team means a lot to me because I am hopeful for this generation to do great things and I think showing the youth ways to help their community in a fun manner can be very meaningful and inspiring to others. All in all, I am extremely thrilled to be a part of this and cannot wait to see the effect of Little Helpers!
