The President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes volunteers’ role in America’s identity and strength. I have received this award every year in high school, with the Gold award being the one I received most recently for serving 250 hours. I also receive recognition from the White House for my work and efforts.

Sponsored by the United Nations Association – USA, The United Nations National Community Service Award is a high honor for volunteers. This service must align with some of the 17 Global Goals set by the United Nations. The Ambassador Award is the highest level; completing at least 100 hours and 12 different service activities is necessary to achieve this award.

Yours Humanly Power to Empower award recognizes youth nationally for significantly impacting those in desperate need of help and comfort through their outstanding acts of goodness
2022

The Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky 17 Under Seventeen Awards are about celebrating the future. They reward some of the most incredible youth volunteers in the area and “create synergy between the young and gifted for lifelong relationships in hopes that great things come to fruition.” I was named a 17 Under Seventeen Youth Leader in 2021 and was honored to meet founder Rico Grant and connect with many other youth leaders. Each leader was also awarded a $5000 grant to the University of Cincinnati. To give wings to our ideas and help us fly, we have a community to share our talents and learn from others!

2021

In 2021, Little Helpers had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of being featured on national television! BYUtv’s “Operation Awesome” featured only ten astonishing kids nationally who give back to their communities, and I was among these ten kids due to my work with Little Helpers. We connected with several other changemakers across the country through this incredible opportunity. Through my episode (S1 E7 Operation Back to School Cool), Little Helpers raised over $2,000 of school supplies for the Mason Schools Foundation School Supplies Drive. Apart from this, the changemakers and I had fun playing cricket, baking, and getting to know each other!

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards (now called Prudential Emerging Visionaries) program is the United States’ most extensive youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service. I was recognized as Ohio’s top Middle-level Youth Volunteer in 2020 through my service with Little Helpers. As this was during the initial stages of the pandemic, our weeklong celebration trip became virtual. The virtual celebration was still a fantastic experience as I interacted with other top volunteers from other states online. I also spoke to Kristen Bell (guest speaker for our ceremony) regarding service and kindness! Prudential awarded me a Silver Medallion, a $1000 scholarship, and $2500 to fund projects through Little Helpers.
