Diya Bhat – Marketing Director
I am Diya Bhat, an incoming Senior at Mason High School. My primary focus in leadership and club experiences are on activism and healthcare through clubs such as: Red Cross, Unified for Uganda, and MHS Amnesty. Specifically in Unified for Uganda I’m the Outreach Coordinator and helped raise $720 to completely fund a child’s education! Outside of school I am a black belt and have worked alongside many others to teach younger children Tae Kwon Do. Some of my biggest passions include interacting with others and graphic design in my free time and I am so excited to share this with Little Helpers. I’m thrilled to inspire many young children and make a change in people’s lives. ”
Divyana Bose – Journalist
Hello! My name is Divyana Bose (or Divy) and I am an incoming Junior at William Mason High School. My involvement in leadership roles is crucial to me since I am considered a team leader on my dance competition team. I have won an Ohio national superior writing award for my work in the sports department of the MHS Chronicle as well. I am so excited to be a journalist for the YAB and I hope that I can make someone’s day every day with kindness.
Janu Gadthula – Marketing Director
My name is Janu Gadthula and I’m an incoming junior at William Mason High School. As a former girl scout and an active volunteer in my community, serving and giving back to the world has always been something I’ve cherished. To take it a step further and express this passion through the Little Helpers organization is something I’m really looking forward to. I hope my strengths of taking initiative and collaborating with a team will play an important role in making a difference for the good!
Sanjana Kumar – Marketing Director
I’m Sanjana Kumar, an incoming sophomore at Mason High School. I enjoy anything creative like drawing, singing, and dancing. I also love spending time outdoors and with family and friends. I have experience tutoring kids in singing, and would love to get more volunteer exposure/ experience by being a part of Little Helpers. I love that Little Helpers is all about helping the community, and I am really excited to be a part of the team! I hope to spread kindness and happiness, especially during difficult times like now. I hope that I can positively impact and give back to the community.
Gia Mahajan – Fundraising Chair
My name is Gia Mahajan. I am an incoming 8th grader at Mason Middle School. Some leadership experiences I have; when I was in an FLL team. I was a Core Values (teamwork/group work) captain. And I came up with group projects for the team to encourage teamwork. I am very excited to be part of the YAB Little Helpers group. I can’t wait to spread kindness and help others!
Deepa Manikandan – Fundraising Chair
My name is Deepa Manikandan, I am an incoming junior at William Mason High School. This is my second year in YAB and apart from Little Helpers, I am also a board member at MHS Youth Activism club. I have participated in Key club and peer tutoring which helped me volunteer in our community. I am really looking forward to being a fundraising chair this year and give back to the community through Little Helpers.
Nishka Mishra – Marketing Director
Hi! I’m Nishka Mishra, an incoming sophomore at Mason High School. I love to spend my time volunteering and giving back to the community in any way I can. I frequently tutor young children and help organize food and clothing drives. In my free time, I like to create digital art, bake, and hang out with friends. I hope with Little Helpers I will be able to inspire more people to spread kindness and lend a helping hand to those in need. I am super excited to be a part of this amazing team, and to help make a positive impact in the lives of others!
Megha Nadagouda – Marketing Director
My name is Megha Nadagouda, and I am an incoming 8th grader at Mason Middle School. I have helped organize events in local charities, and also an active member of my school’s student council. I am excited to be part of Little Helpers because it can change and impact so many kids’ lives, and I hope to be able to bring awareness to this cause. My interests and hobbies are playing the piano, reading books, and listening to music.
Makenzie Niehaus – Journalist
My name is Makenzie Niehaus. I am an incoming sophomore at Mount Notre Dame High School. My leadership experiences are the Ambassadors Committee, clubs at MND (Paws for a Purpose and Big Sis Little Sis), and I am the administrator and writer for a social media sports page. I look forward to contributing to and bringing awareness of activities and opportunities that make a meaning impact to the lives of others. I hope to broaden my understanding of services, grow as an individual, strengthening my journalism skills, and meeting new people.
Divya Parmar – Fundraising Chair
Hello everyone, I am Divya Parmar, an incoming junior at Mason High School! I have been a part of the Student Council in Mason Middle School as a member and leader. I was a part of TAB Auxiliary in the Mason Public Library, and am still strong with on going and will start my third year in Student Government as well. Megan Pettit – Marketing Director
I’m Megan Pettit and an incoming Senior at Mount Notre Dame High School. I am a school ambassador, participate in peer ministry, and enjoy going on service trips to rural Liberty, Kentucky. In my free time, I play guitar and create art. I am very excited to be a part of Little Helpers and hope to reach as many people as I can and inspire them to do good and spread kindness.
Parv Sharma – Marketing Director
Hey! My name’s Parv Sharma and I’m an incoming sophomore at Mason High School. I like playing waterpolo and swimming. I led an FLL team (Lego Legends) I was a part of the State Championship. I am a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo. I also run an NGO, where I raise money and distribute it for a blind school in India. I’m excited to work with Little Helpers and have the experience of helping others firsthand.
Riya Shrivastava – Fundraising Chair
Hi! My name is Riya Shrivastava; an incoming eighth grader at Mason Middle School. I do lemonade stands to donate to charities such as Shine Like Sable. I love taking on leadership challenges as when you’re older, they’ll come in handy. I play basketball, I do dance and recently have looked into soccer. I’m so excited to be part of the Little Helpers Youth Advisory Board!
Sonali Singla – Marketing Director
My name is Sonali Singla and I am an incoming freshman. I attend Sycamore Junior High School. I have had many leadership experiences and one of them was when I was in Student Council I created and directed a short video promoting a Winter canned food drive to the student body. Also, in both of my years taking Mandarin I was elected class president and I helped my classmates with homework and introducing new concepts. I am so honored and excited to be a part of the YAB for Little Helpers because this is a huge opportunity to help others and make my ambitions a reality. I want to make people smile. I have many goals in life such as wanting to successfully start a business that is based off of helping others in golf. Also, I aim to make my high school varsity golf team.
Adhu Thunga – Marketing Director
My name Adhu Thunga and I am an incoming freshman at Mason High School. I wish to be a leader as much as I can in school such as group projects and even just being the first to answer a question in class. I hope to be able to help the community and grow my leadership skills while being in Little Helpers. I also hope to grow and strengthen some new relationships while volunteering for our community.
Alisa Zhao – Marketing Director
I am Alisa Zhao and I’m going into my Freshman Year at William Mason High School. I am a lover of the fine arts, having participated in the Scholastic Art and Writing competitions as well as multiple art shows, winning both Gold and Silver Key awards. I have been playing the violin at the young age of 5, and have taken part in the Cincinnati Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing at Music Hall and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. Using my musical skills, I’ve raised money in a fundraiser that helped send multiple essential items to the homeless. This year, I’m eager to help YAB achieve new goals and projects, with the hope that my actions can bring an infectious smile upon other people’s faces.
